RoboMaster Youth Technical Challenge (RMYT) – Drone Tournament is technical focused competition to challenge students’ skills on drones, AI and coding. RMYT Drone Tournament challenge is organized  by DJI, the world leader in unmanned aerial systems, and 65Drones (authorized education partner of DJI) to inspire our next generations’ interests and passions in learning and pushing their knowledge on engineering, coding and Artificial Intelligence.

Competition Overview

RMYT Drone Tournament 2022 requires students to code a drone to conquer Obstacles and Maze missions, by using drones that has obstacles detection sensors, vision positioning capabilities and LED display capabilities:

Competition Category and Team

There are three categories in RMYT Drone Tournament, namely Primary, Secondary and Senior category. The age requirements for the three categories are:

-             Primary category: 8 to 12 years old.

-             Secondary group: 13 to 16/17 years old.

-             Senior group: 16 to 19 years old.

Each team can have up to two students and one Trainer/Teacher as Team Manager. The students shall be full-time students from Singapore school ( MOE schools/ international School). Each student can only participate in one team. There is no limit to number of teams per school.

Please note that each team is required to have their own drones. We will not provide leasing of the drones.

Registration and Fees

Registration Fee $49.90 per team.

Registration fees can be paid by credit card / paypal or by gebiz payment.

 

The competition can occur in-person with full compliance to standing safe management measures and requirements, or via remote access with livestream depending on Singapore government policies. Remote access has been used during DJI RoboMaster International Games where international teams competed via remote access.
