65drones Drone Light Show Rates
Indoor drone light shows, from $3,000
No stadium, no open airspace, no big footprint — just a clear 5m × 5m stage. Bring a drone light show into your mall, atrium or event hall, priced for a single afternoon or a full weekend run.
Start indoors — no big venue required
The Indoor Showcase and our workshops are the fastest, most affordable way in: no outdoor airspace permit hurdles, no venue larger than an event hall. Pricing below is exclusive of GST and holds through 31 December 2026.
Indoor Showcase
No stadium, no outdoor airspace application, no large grounds — just a clear stage. Built for malls, atriums and event halls, and priced to run once or across a full weekend.
- Only needs a clear indoor stage of 5m × 5m — fits inside almost any event hall or atrium
- 5-minute show, 6+ formations · single show from $4,500–$5,800
- Book a run and the price drops fast: 2 shows at $3,000 each, 4 at $2,000 each, 6+ at $1,500 each
- About 2 months out: 1 month for the permit, 1 month to build and rehearse
Workshops & Activities
Drone-flying activities and STEM workshops for kids and families — a good companion booking alongside a show, or a standalone event-day activity.
- Specialised workshop formats from $2,000
- Existing formats can be ready within 2 weeks
- No extra permit fee if booked alongside a light show permit
- Ask about a drone-light-show-building workshop as an add-on
Outdoor sky shows, for flagship events
If your event has open airspace and the budget for a full-height spectacle, these are the two larger formats — priced and timelined separately since they need CAAS airspace clearance rather than an indoor permit.
Compact Sky Show
The open-air spectacle at a smaller scale, flown within a designated safe-area airspace — well suited to mid-size grounds.
- 7-minute show, 6+ formations, script or imagery can be supplied by you
- Up to 2 revision rounds on a simulation preview before showtime
- About 4 months out: 2 months for CAAS airspace clearance, 2 months to build and rehearse
- 30% off repeat shows
Signature Sky Show
A full-height formation show for open airspace — stadiums, waterfronts, large grounds — visible across the whole event site.
- 7-minute show, 6+ formations, script or imagery can be supplied by you
- Up to 2 revision rounds on a simulation preview before showtime
- About 4 months out: 2 months for CAAS airspace clearance, 2 months to build and rehearse
- 30% off same-day repeat shows

From brief to lift-off
Brief & concept
Share your venue, date and any imagery or story you want the formations to tell. We confirm scale and airspace.
Airspace permit
We file with CAAS on your behalf — outdoor shows need about 1–2 months for clearance; indoor shows about 1 month.
Programming & rehearsal
You'll see a simulation video first, with up to two rounds of changes, before we rehearse the live formations.
Show day
We fly, you host. Booking more than one show in the same run brings the per-show cost down.

Permits & payment, plainly
Airspace permit
Every show needs a CAAS drone activity permit, roughly $500 in total. $120 is paid upfront for assessment; the remaining $380 is due once it's approved.
Payment schedule
Outdoor shows: 75% is due before programming begins, once your booking is confirmed. Indoor shows: just 20% upfront.
Space & timing
Indoor shows need a clear stage area of at least 5m × 5m. Outdoor shows depend on your venue's cleared airspace, confirmed during the permit stage.
